Zoning Board approves three commercial variances

NY ULSTER — Ulster Zoning Board unanimously approved three commercial variances for signage and construction. Dicks Sporting Goods received approval for 226 square feet of main signage and 200 square feet of secondary signage at 703 and 705 Frank Sottile Boulevard, while Dink Pickleball cleared a variance for an additional 78 square feet of wall signage at 920 Miron Lane. Hart NYC Design Build won approval for an area variance for a new steel building at 17-19 Powell Lane.
The board separately voted to advance a variance application from Jeanne Rickard, seeking permission to extend a waterfront deck at 249 Lake Road, to a public hearing.
