NY ULSTER — Ulster Zoning Board approved a fence variance and rejected a building permit challenge at its July 13 meeting. The board unanimously granted Jason Theodor two 12-foot variances to construct a 6-foot fence in the front setback at 1046 Codwise Street. The board also unanimously denied an appeal by Grace Kline and Timothy Krause, represented by attorney Emily Svenson, who challenged a May 13 building permit issued by Building Inspector Warren Tutt.
A third action saw the board vote 3-1 to close the public hearing on a Woodstock Land Conservancy interpretation request regarding Ruby Woods while allowing 30 days for written public comment, with Chairman Reginato voting against closure.
