Ulster approves solar expansion and comprehensive planning grant

NY ULSTER — Ulster Town Board unanimously approves solar expansion and grant. The board granted final approval to IPP Solar Integration's amended site plan for additional low-rack solar panels at 550 Woods Road, subject to 17 conditions including floodplain permits, stormwater reviews, and restoration standards. The board also authorized an easement for utility installation and accepted a $20,000 Community Planning Greenway Grant from the Hudson River Valley Greenway Communities Council to begin comprehensive plan updates in August.

The board also approved a three-year labor agreement with Laborers' International Union Local No. 17 covering 2026 through 2029.
