Town Board approves solar expansion and authorizes labor talks

NY ULSTER — Ulster board certifies solar project expansion with environmental conditions at Woods Road. The Town Board unanimously adopted a SEQRA Negative Declaration and approved an amended site plan for IPP Solar Integration's expansion at 550 Woods Road, ordering a public hearing April 16. The board also approved 12,079.15 dollars in budget modifications for unexpected vehicle maintenance and snow-related meal allowances, and authorized negotiations with Laborers International Union Local 17 on a successor collective bargaining agreement to the contract expired December 31, 2025.
