NY ULSTER — Ulster Town Board approves 25 motions as Supervisor Quigley reverses resignation. Supervisor James E. Quigley 3rd, who had stepped down November 6 following the election, announced he will remain in office after being counseled by elected leaders that his desire to serve the community outweighed his initial decision to leave.
The board accepted a comptroller's abstract of $2,698,558.02 in claims, authorized hiring of four town employees including part-time account clerk Nancy Gallo at $35 per hour, approved a one-year extension of site plan approval for Ulster Hospitality LLC's 100-room hotel project, and adopted SEQRA lead agency status for IPP Solar LLC's expanded 5-megawatt solar facility with battery energy storage systems.
