NY ULSTER — Ulster appoints Deputy Supervisor while board approves sanitary sewer project change order. Supervisor James E. Quigley 3rd appointed Anna Hayner as Deputy Supervisor, exercising his discretionary authority; Hayner lost her re-election bid for Town Council, and resident Regis Obijiski opposed the appointment as circumventing voters' will.
The board unanimously approved a $60,124.60 change order for the RUPCO sanitary sewer extension project at 114 Route 28, Kingston. The board also unanimously approved settlement of a tax certiorari case for 53 Massa Drive, reducing the 2024 assessment by $60,000 and 2025 assessment by $180,000.
